Phobic Cleric

Fantasy cleric who serves the god (or gods) of Chaos and Madness. The religion of the god of Madness lacks any kind of organised hierarchy, standard holy scripture, widely accepted dogma, etc. They do not need such things, since their god infuses them *directly* with his holy wisdom -- which, in this case, is some flavour of insanity -- said wisdom ranges from simple neurosis to downright psychopathic tendencies. Since derangements manifest itselves in a multitude of forms, the faith in the god of madness is a fragmented kaleidoscope, and so are the cults that gravitate around it.

This one in particular is part of a cult centered around a severe phobia of rats. They believe, inside their madness, that rats are soldiers sent by "the enemy," and that the darn rodents are responsible for all that's wrong in the world. His "holy symbol" is actually an antique mouse trap, which he believes can ward off evil.
